Dear Sleepytown clients and friends,
As many of you know, Ryan moved to Kingston last December to set up a mastering room, and I've been running Sleepytown by myself since then. Six months later, I've decided to close the studio. I have spent the last week moving gear and cat pictures out of 3 Parnell, and all that remains there are a few items of furniture and my piano. I'm currently planning to get a mobile recording rig going, and drive around recording bands for a while... hopefully that will be ready by June. In the meantime, I will be doing the following things:
Putting out an EP that I've been working on for too long (hear a song here)
Finding homes for furniture left at 3 Parnell (see list here)
Finding a (temporary?) home for the piano (read more about it here)
Inventory and preparation for a Sleepytown Sound yard sale (some gear, some junk, stay tuned)
Preparing and/or copying session data files for clients (get in touch)
Mixing/mastering unfinished Sleepytown sessions (at my house)
Hooking up with other studios where I can do tracking sessions (downtown)
Eating beans and hot dogs (to save $)
Thanks for your support over the last three years. Hope you keep in touch.
-Mike
